Zakat Sadaqah

Zakat & Sadaqah is a UK based charitable trust. We work on poverty prevention and relief. We distribute aid to the needy and destitute, regardless of their race, gender or creed; focusing on those that are most vulnerable such as homeless rough sleepers.

Our charity particularly works to deliver aid in areas where resources may not be widely available or assistance from local authorities is limited or stretched; we do this through the help of our volunteers or via a registered charity partner.

We focus on two types of charity:

- The first is aimed solely for collecting Zakat donations and distributing it to eligible recipients who fall below the prescribed minimum wealth threshold, e.g. providing essentials such as food to those on the streets with little material possessions.

- The second focuses on Sadaqah (where possible Sadaqah Jariyah is the preferred choice); distributing funds to projects which bring long-lasting change; the aim is to ensure that any donation goes a long way by continuing to run for as long as possible for the benefit of the community, e.g. help fund shelter homes and essential facilities i.e. not as a one-off charity and can be benefited by the community for years to come

Zakat & Sadaqah Charitable Trust operates on a 100% donation policy for all our projects meaning every penny donated goes directly to help those in need.
